Bayshore is located west of Ottawa, and is located between Carling, Pinecrest and the 417. The area consists mostly of budget and rental properties, and is mainly residential.  There are lots of townhouses and apartment buildings in the neighbourhood. There are some neighborhoods in the area with slightly elevated crime rates; this is usually associated with budget housing. Therefore, the cost of real estate in this area is priced low in comparison to the rest of the city.

There are lots of great amenities in the area, and there are lots of community activities happening year round. The area boasts the Bayshore shopping mall, one of the biggest in Ottawa. Bayshore also has a giant movie theatre in the area, along with a thriving yacht club. There’s no shortage of greenery, with plenty of forest, trails, bike paths and parks.

Public transportation is highly accessible, and it’s easy to get downtown. With easy access to the 417, Bayshore has a direct driving route into Ottawa.
