Arnprior is located about 40 minutes west of Downtown Ottawa, and about 25 minutes from Kanata. The Arnprior area has full access to shopping and amenities. It’s now classified as a town, with a population of around 8000, and it’s located along the beautiful Madawaska River. The town was originally established thanks mainly to eastern Ontario’s thriving timber industry. Currently, some large manufacturing companies have offices there. Many residents also commute to Kanata for high-tech jobs. Arnprior also has a small farming community that provides economic support to the region.

There are plenty of beautiful walking and biking trails in town; great for people who love the outdoors. There are also plenty of activities to choose from. The town has a lot of community involvement, with church groups, art and music.
